The Byron Shire is located in the sub-tropical North East of New South Wales, 800km north of Sydney and 180km south of Brisbane.
Byron Bay Real Estate has undergone many transitions since the 60’s. In the last 40 years, Byron Bay has grown from a small sea side town into a popular beach get-away. Renowned for its surfing beaches and beautiful rainforests, Byron Bay today enjoys a relaxed and informal lifestyle that has become a favourite for many people from all walks of life and from all over the planet.
Culturally diverse, Byron Bay is a unique and colourful town with plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars as well as some great music and entertainment venues. Surfing, fishing, yoga, shopping, clubbing, dining, diving – it’s a place to do it all or to have a well deserved rest.
Cape Byron itself reaches out to the most easterly point of Australia’s mainland with amazing views up and down the coast and into the Hinterland.
From Byron Bay it’s a twenty minute drive through the green rolling hinterland hills to Mullumbimby.
This friendly country town is our shires administrative centre and home of the Council Chambers. Approaching Mullumbimby is a scenic feast. If you’re looking for a relaxed and comfortable place, you will love this town. It has carefully retained the classic country calmness and pace so appreciated by locals & visitors alike.
Mullumbimby services many outlying areas such as Main Arm, Myocum, Wilson’s Creek, Huonbrook, Montecollum, Coorabell and Goonengerry.
About 1,700 people live in this town at the mouth of the Brunswick River.
Situated 20 km north of Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads is a quiet fishing village with beautiful beaches and a river meandering through the town.
Brunswick has its own fishing fleet and boat harbour where you can buy fresh fish daily.
Locals and tourists enjoy a variety of activities including surfing, bike riding, swimming, charter fishing, long beach walks and dining out.
Ocean Shores is one of the fastest growing towns in the region with a population of approximately 4700 people.
Just three kilometres north of Brunswick Heads, Ocean Shores has unspoilt beaches, a world class golf course and magnificent ocean views from the many elevated properties.
A large shopping centre provides a variety of goods and services including doctors, dentists and solicitors.
Ocean Shores is home to many young families, retirees and professionals with easy access to major population centres. Ocean Shores is only 90 minutes from Brisbane, 30 minutes from the Gold Coast and 15 minutes north of Byron Bay.
I love living here and I would be happy to show you what our beautiful area has to offer. Whatever your interest in real estate might be – buyer, seller, investor or just having a look, please feel free to call or drop by and have a chat.
Byron Bay real estate is so varied that there’s bound to be a property to fit your lifestyle, and I’d like the opportunity to help you find the one that ‘fits like a glove’.
